Sydney, NSW – November 10, 2024 – The Sydney Town Hall will be the setting for an enchanting afternoon of music and dance at the Wild Swans ballet, charity concert. This  event, set to take place on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM, aims to raise  awareness and funds for the Children’s Tumour Foundation. The concert will feature performances by the NSW Police Band, Musicáno Fusion Ensemble, Inner West Youth Orchestra, Sophia Ballet, Epiphany Dance & Co and Maxwise Academy. Attendees can expect a magical blend of classical music and ballet in  support of a worthy cause. The Children’s Tumour Foundation is dedicated to conquering neurofibromatosis (NF), a genetic disorder that causes tumours to form on nerve tissue. This charity concert represents a significant effort to support their mission and bring hope to affected children and families.

This is the first full ballet suite production and performance of the Wild Swans ballet since its premiere at the Sydney Opera House 20 years ago. Any students who would like to participate and perform in the event are encouraged to enrol either with the Inner West Youth Orchestra, Maxwise Academy program or Epiphany Dance & Co. The composer, Elena Kats-Chernin will also provide a workshop prior to the performance. How  exciting!
